A Triumph Rocket III owner has clocked up an incredible 275,000km on his Rocket III. That’s equivalent to six times around the world or more than half way to the moon!

He has travelled around Australia and through the centre several times on his Rocket, and describes himself as a quiet sort of guy who loves the country, but not cities or crowds. His wish is to complete 300,000km on his Rocket III. He has had a number of other bikes in the past, but rates the Rocket as the best by far.

Triumph’s Marketing Manager Mal Jarrett said: “We were made aware around October last year that there was a Rocket getting around with 185,000km on it, as it was in Perth dealership JCS for a service. I spotted a Rocket in one of our Tasmanian dealerships, Northwest Motorcycles, a couple of weeks ago with 270,000km on it, and I wondered if it was the same bike, but discounted it, as it would have meant the owner had completed 85,000km on it in only seven months! “But lo and behold, it’s back in at JCS in Perth for its 275,000km service. “As you can see from the attached image, he has fitted a number of Triumph accessories to the bike, which as with the bike, are performing flawlessly.”
