Take 2 of the country’s best ATV riders, combine them with arguably, the most competitive race ATV on the market, the mighty Kawasaki KFX450R and the result is an unstoppable force in the Australian quad racing scene.

The Hardiman ATV Kawasaki Race Team look destined for great things and they have not disappointed with team rider, Paul Worth, winning the team’s first outing on the Kawasaki, the Quad Motocross class at the QBE Moto Mayhem at Oran Park Raceway on Sunday 24 February 2008.

Hardiman ATV sponsored the event that brought the team their first win- the Quad Motocross Class. The 3 race event was highly contested with 16 entrants competing including other ATV manufacturer’s race teams.

Paul Worth represented the Hardiman ATV Kawasaki Race Team without his injured team mate, Todd O’Leary who offered support from the pits. The first race of the series was the feature race of the event that will be aired on SBS, Foxtel and other television networks.

This was Paul Worth’s maiden race on the Kawasaki KFX450R and possibly the first national race for the Kawasaki Model. Paul rode brilliantly to win the 10 lap race convincingly gaining high profile television exposure for himself, the team and Kawasaki. Paul backed up the 1st race win with the hole shot in the second race.

Paul rode the Kawasaki KFX450R like he’d been on it for years clocking lap times 3 seconds quicker than anybody else, winning the 4 lap race easily with a 15 second margin over 2nd place. He then went on to a podium finish in the 3rd and final race taking out 3rd place.

His impressive performance gave the Hardiman ATV Kawasaki Race Team their first win, taking out the Quad Motocross Class at the Moto Mayhem Event.  “The Kawasaki performed flawlessly and I’m stoked to win” said Paul after winning the event.

The Hardiman ATV Kawasaki Race Team head to Canberra on March 9 for the beginning of the Tri State Quad Series where they aim to continue winning on board the Kawasaki KFX450R.
