Krusty goes under the blade and will not compete at Eastern Creek
2004 Australian Superbike and Supersport Champion Adam ‘Krusty’ Fergusson will not compete again this season and will focus his attention on his new teams assault on the 2007 Australian Superbike Championship.
“I am disappointed not to be able to ride in the final round at Eastern Creek, but basically, I need to look after my body if I am going to regain my Superbike title next year. I go under the knife this week and will need a good few weeks to recover, I will be testing shortly after that with DVS and will focus on getting myself right for next year”.
Krusty’s new team, DVS Honda have already completed the build on a “test” version of his new race machine and are readying it for its first test in the coming weeks
DVS Chief, Dave Krsevan says; “The first bike is ready and we are preparing several versions of our new rear shock for Adam to test, I am very confident that Adam will play a significant role in readying our shock for next year, with his vast experience, we are blessed to have him on board.”
Fans keep an eye out for Krusty and the DVS boys as they start test around Australia in late November or simply log onto the teams new webpage to keep up to date with the wild world of Adam “Krusty” Fergusson.
