Harley Davidson Blackline
The Harley Davidson Blackline is a lean version of the Softail.
2011 Harley Davidson Blackline
The Harley-Davidson Blackline is a new clean look custom from H-D, based on the Softail. Harley’s press release tells us the Blackline name is a reference to the long black line of the road ahead. Judging by some of the press photos though, it mght have other meanings.
Powered by a 96 cube (1575cc) motor, the Blackline seeks to emulate the “bobber” look. Blacked out spoked rims – 21″ up front, and 16 at the rear, give the Blackline a purposeful stance. An 18 litre tank is more generous than some of H-Ds other offerings of late. The seat height is advertised as their lowest ever two-up setup and like most cruiser’s, dragging the pegs doesn’t look very hard.
RRP, colours, and availability in Australia TBA. For more details, see your local Harley Davidson dealer.
