Triumph Thunderbird Storm

Triumph have unveiled a new variant of the Thunderbird big twin cruiser. This one is called the Storm.

Capacity in the big parallel twin is now up to 1700cc, previously available as a big bore kit option 9on the standard Thunderbird, it is the new standard in the Storm. Expect around 100 horsepower, and 115ft/lbs of torque to move its 330kg plus weight around.

For the Storm, Triumph have added the now familiar twin round headlights, as seen on the Rocket 3 and the Speed Triples, drag bars and black. Lots of black.

Paint wise you will get a choice – gloss black, or matt black.

Expect to see the Thunderbird Storm here in Australia around March 2011.
