Honda VT750S Cruiser
Honda Australia release the bargain priced VT750S cruiser.
750cc fuel injected V-twin, with a compelling sub 9000 dollar price.
- Honda has released the VT750S Cruiser, available in dealers now.
- The VT750S has the same six-valve liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine as the VT750 Shadow
- Looks more than a bit like another iconic sports cruiser.
- Priced at $8990 plus on roads
Selling points include a lowish 750mm seat height, fuel injected Honda reliability, and more of a “traditional” set/bars/pegs relationship than the “feet far forward” type cruisers.
While it is no Bonneville or Sportster, the wire wheels, slim tank and sprinkling of chrome make it a decent looking bike. Downside of the styling is a fuel capacity of only 10 odd litres, although the fuel economy should be decent considering the 750 twin only cranks out 42 horses.
Unfortunately due to it’s capacity it isn’t LAMS legal, a pity, because it looks like it would be a great first bike. However, with it’s good looks and that low price point, it is likely to find favor with a lot of buyers.
