New 2011 GSX-R600 Design sketch in Black

Is this Suzuki’s long awaited update of the GSX-R600 for 2011?

Is this the 2011 updated GSX-R600 Suzuki? There’s been an officially leaked sketch of the 2011 600 doing the rounds, and while that sketch has the traditional Gixxer Blue and White paint, we thought the little rocket would look good in black.

There have been a lot of rumours swirling about what’s new on the 2011 model, but we will wait until after the official details are released – most likely at the INTERMOT show or the yearly Suzuki dealer show in Las Vegas, both on around the same time – before we get too excited about the bigger claims.

You couldn’t be blamed for expecting more horsepower and less weight, although not every new model sports those features. From this design sketch, it appears there is some fairing reworking going on, with larger intake vents and a hadlight rework, while the tail section is looking even less pillion friendly.
